RC947 RLM 79

High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula and color accuracy superior to other brands in the market. Flows smoothly in an airbrush; adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds firmly all kind of weathering products. May be diluted with AK701/AK702 High Compability Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints.

Used for painting upper surfaces of Luftwaffe aircraft operating in North Africa and Mediterranean area; introduced around the spring of 1941.

Also carried by some aircraft operating in the Eastern Front which had been factory-finished in tropical colors.
